Johann Konrad Böke-Wiethaupt, Junkermeier, son of Stephen and Margaretha Ilsebein Böke-Wiethaupt of Stemmen 58, was baptized Nov. 14, 1723 at the family church in Varenholz. He is designated in the Lippe governmental records as a "Kleinkötter" ("Klein" = small; "Kötter" = those who lived in a cottage on the farm of the owner farmer; a little piece of land was theirs to use; in return they paid no money to the owning farmer, but were obliged, along with their families, to help the owning farmer with the farm work on certain days or at certain times).

  1. Johann Konrad married Nov. 23, 1742 Marie Schaper, born in 1720 at Stemmen. Marie died Mar. 10, 1773 at Stemmen 58.
  2. Johann Konrad married June 10, 1774 Sophie Held, born at Langenholzhausen. Sophie died at Stemmen 58.

Death

Johann died Mar. 25, 1790 at Stemmen 58, of a gangrenous inflammation of the bowels; his age was 66 years and 4 months.
